I have had this song playing in my head for close to a decade before I recorded it in 2020 and 2021. It started in high-school near 2010, I had all the arrangements and transitions ready, waiting to be recorded. The song shares some similarities with my other song Maturity from my first EP, so much that the first title for Waste My Life was "Maturity v2".

I wanted a beautiful rich production for this track, I saw it as my perfect high-school rock song. Now here it is, I'm very happy to release this after all this time.
